July brings significant updates to Refurbr, including a fresh new look, a completely rebuilt Returns experience and improvements designed to make everyday operations simpler for tech refurbishment businesses.

This month, Refurbr Reborn introduces a cleaner, more modern experience across the platform, while a new business overview makes it easier to see what's happening across stock, sales, fulfilment and finance from one place.

Behind the new look, there's plenty happening too. Returns can now handle multiple assets within a single RMA, finance processes have been tightened up and reporting is more flexible. We've also expanded the API, strengthened the Blancco integration and introduced several refinements to help busy teams get more done.

🎨 Refurbr, Reborn

Refurbr has a fresh new design, codenamed Reborn, and it's front and centre the moment you sign in. The look and feel has been rebuilt to put the Refurbr brand right at the heart of the platform, with user experience improvements across the board.

• A cleaner, more modern feel across the day-to-day screens you use most.
  
• The Refurbr brand front and centre, giving the platform a confident, current identity.
  
• The same Refurbr underneath, so everything you rely on works exactly as it did, it just looks a lot sharper.

It's the kind of change you notice straight away, and it sets the tone for where Refurbr is heading next.

📊 A Business Overview at a Glance

A new overview dashboard gives you the state of the business the moment you land, with no digging through separate screens.

• Headline numbers up top. Stock on hand and its cost value, open sales and their order value, unsettled invoices and what's still outstanding, and how many dispatches are awaiting a courier.
  
• The fulfilment pipeline shows how much is in picking, packing and awaiting courier, so you can see where work is banking up.
  
• Stock by status breaks inventory down from Received through Ready For Sale, Picked and Dispatched.
  
• Latest sales and recent dispatches sit side by side, so money coming in and goods going out are both in view.
  
• A live activity feed shows what the platform is doing behind the scenes, from marketplace syncs to housekeeping.

It's the screen to keep open, a single, honest picture of stock, sales, fulfilment and cash.

📦 Returns That Hold Many Assets at Once

Until now a return meant a single asset. If a customer sent back five devices you raised five returns, five reference numbers, five of everything. That's changed. A return is now a header that can hold as many assets as you need, and each asset carries its own reason for return, triage and outcome.

• Add assets by tag or serial. Type or scan an asset tag or a serial number and Refurbr looks it up in inventory and fills in the SKU, description and serial for you. There's no picking a SKU by hand any more.
  
• Add one at a time or import a spreadsheet. For a large return, upload a CSV of asset tags (or serials) and reasons. Refurbr resolves every row against inventory before it adds anything, so a bad row is caught up front rather than halfway through.
  
• Every asset on its own path. Approve, decline, send for repair, replace, credit or send to picking each asset individually. The return's overall status rolls up from its assets, so the dashboard still gives you the at-a-glance view.
  
• A clearer window. The Overview now holds just the header and address detail, while a new Assets tab is home to the returned items and everything you do with them.

Returns raised against a sales order still only let you pick assets that were actually shipped on that order, so the guard rails you rely on are all still there. It's a big step towards handling real-world RMAs with a lot less clicking.

💷 Finance Accuracy You Can Trust

• Correct rounding when working a net price back from the price paid. When an order records the gross price a customer paid, with VAT included, Refurbr works the net line price back from it for the invoice. That reverse calculation could round a penny the wrong way, so a line that should have read 48.75 was coming back as 48.76. It now rounds down to the penny cleanly, so the invoice reconciles against what was actually paid every time.
  
• ProForma always on order confirmations. When you send a confirmation for a sales order, the ProForma invoice that Refurbr generates is now attached by default. There's no printing it separately, the customer gets the document with the confirmation as standard.

📊 Reporting on Your Schedule, or on Demand

Scheduled reports are great until you need one right now. You can now send any report on its email schedule immediately, straight from the report, without waiting for the next scheduled run. It's handy when someone asks for the numbers between cycles.

🧹 A Sharper Blancco Integration

We've tightened how Refurbr works with Blancco data erasure across the board.

• Specs applied to your assets. Grade, storage, memory and lock status from a Blancco report now write onto the asset the same way a Phonecheck inspection does, so a wiped device lands with its full specification.
  
• Look up by serial number. Reports can now be matched to assets by serial, not just IMEI or asset tag, so more devices find their report first time.
  
• Every response logged. Blancco API calls are recorded in the System Log, so when a report doesn't come through you can see exactly what happened.

🔗 A Bigger, Sharper API

The API has grown a lot this month, so more of what you do in the app can be driven by an integration. Everything stays scoped to the calling token's own account.

• Create and accept sales orders. Sales.CreateOrder raises an order, including a per-order delivery address that's independent of the account's billing address, so dropship runs through the same endpoint. Sales.AcceptOrder accepts a draft order and runs the same stock, price and inventory checks as accepting it in-app, allocating stock or raising picking as needed.
  
• Refunds and credits. Sales.RefundOrder records a refund against an order, full or partial, and raises the credit note for you.
  
• Products and purchase orders. Products.GetProducts and Products.Create read and create catalogue products, and GetProducts returns a product even when it has no stock, so you can dedupe a supplier's part number against your own SKU. PurchaseOrders.Create bulk-creates purchase orders for onboarding stock you don't hold yet.
  
• Fulfilment routing. Fulfilment.UpdateFacility moves an order to a different fulfilment facility, as long as fulfilment hasn't started.
  
• Lighter, paginated inventory reads. Inventory.GetStock is now leaner, each SKU carries an AssetCount rather than every asset tag inline, and the new Inventory.GetProductAssets pages through a SKU's asset tags. Inventory.GetReturnReceipt also takes a Since cursor so you can poll for newly received returns.

✨ A Few More Refinements

• Faster list views. The grids you work in all day open and page more quickly, so long lists stay snappy as your data grows.
  
• Bulk-create repairs from a spreadsheet. Raise a batch of repairs by uploading a sheet of asset tags, rather than one at a time.
  
• Inbound Shipments and Materials Pallets are now opt-in. These pallet-based flows are switched off by default and enabled per team from the Web Panel, so they only appear for the operations that use them.

Looking Ahead

This release is really about Returns growing up, from one asset at a time to handling a whole RMA in one place, with the finance and integration accuracy to back it up.

Next, we're continuing to port customers onto the new Refurbr and sharpening the accounting integrations, such as QuickBooks.
